For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
2 Corinthians 1:20
Have you “done it all” ? Prayed, fasted, poured your heart out to God, served, gave an offering, made the faith confessions……yet your prayers seem and remain unanswered.
How do you feel? What do you do? Give up? Stop Praying? Get offended with God?
Certainly not….anytime discouragement knocks at your door, pull yourself together and remember the following:
- God’s personal promise to you are found in His Word, the Bible
- He cannot deny himself – 2 Timothy 2:13
- Search the scriptures – John 5:39
- God’s promises are yes and amen in Christ – 2 Corinthians 1:20
- God’s word will not return to Him void – Isaiah 55:11
- God is not a man to lie – Numbers 23:19
- The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever – Isaiah 40:8
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever – Hebrews 13:8
- Stagger not in unbelief, but hold on to God’s promises, giving glory to God – Romans 4: 20
- Remain fully persuaded in God that He will do what he will do – Romans 4: 21
- Cast down imaginations, bring into captivity every thought and make them obedient to Christ
– 2 Corinthians 10:5 - Remember God’s faithfulness – 1 Thessalonians 5:24. Ponder on what He did in the Bible and the testimony of others that you have heard
- Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might – Ephesians 6:10
- It’s not by power nor might but by His Spirit – Zechariah 4:6
- Trust in God, not in your strength/your prayers/man – Psalm 20:7
- Get heaven’s perspective – lift up your eyes – Isaiah 40:26
- Never forget the good things God has done for you – Psalm 103:1-2
- Give thanks in all situations – 1 Thessalonians 5:18
